Philip J. Saviano Memorial Scholarship

The Douglas High School is pleased to announce the establishment of the Philip J. Saviano Memorial Scholarship by James and Cynthia Saviano. The objective of the scholarship is to focus on the overall scholastic achievement of students with an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Preference will be given to students who will be pursuing a career in STEM at a four-year college or university. Beginning with the class graduating in May, 2025, five $20,000 scholarships will be available each year in Phil’s memory with the intention of continuing the program for ten full years.

The Douglas High School counseling staff is available to discuss the scholarships and offer guidance on applying for them.
